The Worlds Best Disc Golf Courses 2024: #1-#100 | Release Point – The UDisc Blog
Disc golf, also known as Frolf or frisbee golf, is a flying disc game, as well as a precision and accuracy sport, in which individual players throw a flying disc at a target. According to Paul Ince of the Professional Disc Golf Association, “the object of the game is to traverse a course from beginning to end in the fewest number of throws of the disc.”
Now open in Dellwood Park (end of Dell Park Ave. off of State Street in Lockport), The Canyons Disc Golf Course is a 27 basket course with “holes” throughout Lockport’s scenic Dellwood Park. It has been said that every “hole” is a signature basket with breathtaking natural backdrops from flowing water, rock formations, bridges to throwing from steep terrain (slope: 0% to 12%) and so much more. It is truly one of the most beautiful disc courses in the area with challenges that even the most experienced disc golfer will find exhilarating.
The composite course features three skill levels (red, white and blue), eighteen concrete tee pads (white course), six water hazards, and a practice area.
