Dolores was a very backwards kind of girl; she was extremely intelligent at a young age, but always childish in her pursuits. She loved dolls, especially making her own. Her mom would help her go to the craft store and pick out every new part. She never grew tired of it.
During college a group of girls became her first friends. They were popular and beautiful, and Dolores never felt as special as she did with them. They invited her to join their sorority. On the night that they were inducting her they blindfolded her and stuck her in the trunk of a car. They parked the car at an old dump and then went through her dorm. They beheaded all of her beloved dolls and threw their bodies in the pond on campus. After 24 hours in the trunk Dolores was finally found and released. Once she got back home and saw the destruction of her beloved toys she began to lose it. She picked up the phone to call her mother and saw several missed calls. It turns out that her mother had a stroke, she held on for a day waiting to speak to her daughter, but died three hours earlier.
Dolores felt a switch flip in her mind. She went through her closet and made herself into a doll. She went and found all of the girls who did this to her and took them out one by one, strangling them with a wire. She then dressed each girl carefully and curled their hair. She drew huge lashes on their faces and made them into her adorable dolls. Dolores was taken to prison, where everyone began to call her Dolly. She was sent to the psych ward after it became evident that she wasn’t fully aware of the consequences of her actions. After a decade she escaped and went out to the woods to live. She takes children that she sees and makes them into her little doll family. She takes good care of her toys, so she doesn’t see anything wrong with it. The children love her, and are happy to stay with her… aren’t they?
